Hong Kong police have provided further detail on
the suspect arrested on Wednesday,in connection with the nude
and sexually explicit photos allegedly of Edison Chen (陳冠希),
Gillian Chung, Bobo Chan and Cecilia Cheung that emerged on the web this week.

A 29-year-old unemployed man was arrested at his home in the New Territories
and officers have seized his computer, containing 12 of the photos.
The police had tracked down the IP address of the man's internet connection
and had asked the internet service provider to divulge his location.

The police said that they are still determining the suspect's role
in the spread of the photos as he may not have been the first person
to upload the images onto the internet.
Deputy Commissioner Peter Yam (任達榮) told the press yesterday
that their initial investigations show there is no relationship
between the suspect and Edison,
Gillian, Bobo or Cecilia, thus there was no blackmail involved.
He added that they are still trying to determine if the photos were real or fakes(:
