At times, kaixin loses track of herself.
During those tragic times, i only wanna please myself

do things that would please me &only me,
get that great selfish amount of affection and never share.

But im tired to keep fighting for myself already.
Because i realised i've placed my priorities wrongly,
now im facing the dire consequences.
im not happy, picking up the pieces now &starting all over.
Worn out - im gonna do only what my mind tells me is right now
&no matter how strong the sudden pangs from that wretched part of my system
i'll never walk back or turn around again, to give destiny another reason
to bring me down hard.

kaixin is coming back, to please everyone else but herself(:
there'll always be people out there whom will never appreciate the sacrifices,
but at least i know - its been done without regrets.
At least, when i see the people around whom i care about, happy
i'll have that amount of happiness &content as well
There might never ever be that amount of selfish affection i could call my own.
But at least i hold the other blessings close &i'll learn to treasure them.
Im learning to count my blessings again, just like before(:
